Process quality

Tracking throughout the production process.
Our batch number 05-01-001-L (year, extruder number, production lot, weekday) enables us to track the raw materials, the ingredients, the intermediates, the extruded meters and the quality of the finished casing at all times.

Quality Control laboratory
Our laboratory is equipped with sophisticated quality control systems for verifying the quality of the products used for producing casings and also with physical and chemical analytical systems for verifying the results expected at each production step.

Online control systems
We have integrated computerised control systems into our production plants that verify compliance with the specified quality control parameters and correct any deviations online. This enables us to produce casings with very tight thickness and calibre tolerances.

Product quality

The greatest challenge in the production of casings is to achieve product uniformity.The market demands an exact calibre, with a constant thickness and a high degree of resistance to filling stresses.

Water is an extremely important resource for the production of collagen casings.
Our exacting water supply and recycling system lets us guarantee minimum impairment of the environment.

Water treatment
Our water treatment plant has a daily capacity of more than 1000 m3, producing water with excellent physical, chemical and biological properties.

Effluent treatment
The effluent we produce is treated to obtain water of optimum quality which is returned to the river. The high quality is proved by the rich fauna and flora in the river downstream of our plant.
