FIBRAN is an industrial company that manufactures artificial sausage casings made from collagen. Our products, the result of many years of hard work, research and development, are marketed in all five continents with notable success. From the start FIBRAN’s philosophy has been the same – to create products of the highest quality that are tailor-made to suit the requirements of sausage manufacturers.

The company started up in 1953 in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees. Two years later FIBRAN casings were launched in the difficult Spanish market, which had been accustomed to casings made from natural materials. Since then FIBRAN has spent many years of hard work and endeavour to develop sophisticated production systems and methods, working with a professional team and using the best materials. As a result FIBRAN was able to launch a special casing for cured sausages in 1961, which revolutionised this sector of the market.

Since 1965 FIBRAN has responded to the demands of the market by offering its customers a range of new products such as CURVED CASINGS, COLEX CASINGS, and synthetic materials.
